Boston University's women's lacrosse team won the American East Championship against UNH on Sunday. One of the closest and most exhilarating sports games I've seen in a while-- let alone lacrosse. I consider myself lucky to have been there, even if it was early on a cold wet Sunday, with the office's 300-zoom by my side.
Watching these girls these past few weeks i've learned alot more than I had expected. A hell of a-lot more than what makes a good sports shot (its two faces and a ball if you were wondering) but about teamwork, and friendship, and trying your hardest. These girls remember what the game is there for, the fun, to have a good time in a world when that is all too easily forgotten. They reminded me of what it's all about, why I do photography, what I look for in life. I thank them, and respect them tremendously for that.
